Meet the CEO. He's 14.

Hightorque started as a Google Doc, a sketchbook, and a kid who wouldn't stop talking about cars at the dinner table. It became a company because the adults in his life kept saying "huh, that's actually a real plan."

This page is the whole story — how it started, who's helping, what we believe, and why a 14-year-old runs a company that ships parts to 38 states.

★ The origin story

I was eight when I started a "favorite cars" notebook. By twelve, the notebook was full of business plans. By thirteen, I had a spreadsheet of every dealership within a 200-mile radius and a side hobby of negotiating with adults at car shows on behalf of my dad.

Then one of those dealerships kicked me out for "loitering" while I was reading the window sticker on a 911. I went home that day and registered hightorque.com.

The plan was small: an Instagram page where I'd review cars I couldn't drive yet. Then a friend's dad asked if I could find him forged wheels for his Cayman, because the shop in town was quoting him $4K too high. I made a phone call. He saved $3,800. He paid me a finder's fee. I realized I had a business.

Now we're a real thing. We sell exotic cars, we rent them, we wrap them, we tint them, and we source the parts that make them yours. There's a real team — adults who care, an accountant, a lawyer, an insurance carrier, and a garage manager who's seen everything. And there's still me, in middle school, building it. Permission slip on file.

Age 14 (now)

The full launch

Launched the rental fleet. Opened the Detail Studio. Live custom-parts requests. This is the start.

The mission, in plain English:

Make exotic-car culture less weird, less gatekept, and a lot more honest. Sell cars we'd own. Rent cars we'd drive. Detail cars the way we'd detail our own. Source parts at fair prices. Tell the truth about what we do and don't know. Have fun.

★ House rules (yes, we have them)

  1. Homework first, always. The CEO finishes school assignments before any business calls.
  2. Every car gets a 22-point inspection. No exceptions, no shortcuts.
  3. If we wouldn't drive it, we don't sell it.
  4. Every quote is in writing. Every quote includes the cost breakdown.
  5. If we say "tomorrow," we mean tomorrow. If we can't, we say so.
  6. The CEO has a bedtime. After 9pm it's email-only. We answer in the morning.
  7. If you're rude to anyone on the team, your account closes. We don't need that customer.
